Bug#178134: suggestion: have apache-ssl, apache-perl, etc. provide apache
Package: apache-ssl
Version: 1.3.27+1.48-0.1
Severity: wishlist

I have had several programs that I have tried to install lately depend
on apache, which is slightly annoying, as I don't have apache installed,
I have apache-ssl. My suggestion is to make the various standalone
apache packages "provide" apache, then anything that depends on apache
would work with any apache server.
thanks,
Brian
