Bug#155179: apache2: alias /manual/ is a 404 if apache2-doc is not installed.
Package: apache2
Version: N/A; reported 2002-08-02
Severity: normal

Hash: SHA1
in /etc/apache2/sites-enabled/default, there is the following alias:
Alias /manual/ "/usr/share/doc/apache2-doc/manual/"
But that does only work if apache2-doc is installed.
I suggest to move this alias in an new file called
/etc/apache2/sites-enabled/apache2-doc or similiar. apache2-doc should own
that file.
