Hi,

apt-get -f install will propose you a solution. I could install google-earth this way in unstable on AMD64 yesterday. 

Some applications were uninstalled, but I could reinstall them afterwards. If you are very carefull, make a backup of your system before, for example avec fsarchiver (works fine).
