Well it does that quite frequently on 32bit systems too, so you can just
blame that on crappy code from Adobe (and possibly firefox too).

I have had days where I decide to try enabling the flash plugin again,
and after having firefox crash 10 times in the next hour I usually
disable it again.

Of course by not being open source, the flash player doesn't let any
competent programmers actually go and fix it.
