Kernel direct mapping tables 1000000000 @ 8000-d000

Hello,

I don't know if it is the apropiate list to post this, please tell me if not.

I recently install lenny amd64 on a Athlon 64X2 machine, when boot
this message appear down screen...

Kernel alive
Kernel direct mapping tables 1000000000 @ 8000-d000

The booting process take a while but the system become fully usable.

Searching the web I saw post from Ubuntu users with their systems hangs up
with the same message and putting acpi=off on boot the fail dissapear, in my
system if I put acpi=off the system hangs, wereaver I don't want to put
acpi=off ;)

I couldn't get information about what is this message, even I can boot and use
my system, I like to know what is.

I've tried you all kernels available but the same message appear.

Thanks very much.
