Dear folks,
I am running an HW191D monitor I got from Novatech on my AMD Duron 1200MHz 32 bit box under Debian Etch.
I also run the same monitor on an AMD64 box with a Nvidia graphics chipset in it. It runs Debian Lenny. The nvidia card is working properly.
I am not sure whether either box is running the HW191D monitor at the resolution it is capable of.
The xorg.conf file from the AMD Duron box is:

As far as I am aware the resolution it is supposed to run at is 1920 x 1440.
I am a bit puzzled as to why these lower resolutions are present in the file..... Maybe they should be deleted......?????
Suggestions on how to know that your monitor really is working at full tilt would be appreciated.
