linux-image-amd64 unstable not pulling new kernel

Hi,

The description for linux-image-amd64 says:

 This package depends on the latest binary image for Linux kernel on all
 64bit single- and multiprocessor AMD and Intel machines.

and I have linux-image-2.6.24-1-amd64 (version 2.6.24-6), yet a new
image version has been available for some time
(linux-image-2.6.25-1-amd64).  'apt-get update; apt-get upgrade' doesn't
pull the new package.  Is this a bug in linux-image-amd64?
