Dear All, powernowd seems to need sysf but that requires libc6 2.5-5. i got that from the unstable package section. However it conflicts with my tzdata i got with debian etch. Any ideas? Thanks Cavan

True, It does switch, but I find with the _ondemand setting, its
switches faster ( I remember reading somewhere that the athlon/turion
can switch states 30 times/sec .. battery power!)

btw: I use  the 'cpu scaling applet' which I assume is the same thing we
are talking about, else I need to look at my repo again :)
