Hello list, since some time I experience problems with my X. I am using X Window System Version 7.1.1 and I have tree monitors set up. Two of them are connected to an nvidia-gforce-6600 based card (nvidia-drivers) and the third one is connected to an old pci grafic-card (s3virge, s3virge driver from Xorg). I am using KDE with kwin. Now, sometimes the screen seemes to freeze. This means, I am typing, and one hit on the keyboard is lost for the text, but used to wake up X again. I think there is coincidence with amarok changing songs, but not shure. So I have switched off the amarok on screen display, but this was without any effect. If the screen is frezzed not even the clock in the taskbar get updated. The second strange thing: sometimes the screens just blank out. My screensaver it tourned off, but the energie controll for the monitors are set to blank the screen off after 4 minutes. There are no strange things (not for me) in the logs. Any hints?
