amd64 architecture of debian become more and more important.
i see very positive development of amd64-port (security support -> http://www.us.debian.org/News/2005/20050811) and
know that amd64-port isn't on released ports today (http://www.us.debian.org/ports/),

but for amd64-port-user-satisfaction packages should run after upgrade.
don't know how we user can help developer get amd-64 port in 'released port' status and how tell package maintainers if theire
packages broken in e.g. amd64-port.

i need to read some more about autobuilder, to know which packages are broken before i do my own update/upgrade.

P.S. found original debian bug,
http://groups.google.com/group/linux.debian.bugs.rc/browse_frm/thread/802bcd811d7fea71/fa4d630adf0bddc5?tvc=1&q=gnome-panel#fa4d630adf0bddc5
so i try to find out how double report from different users can be improved, one in debian bug system, one on this mailing list.
