Its unlikely that cooling and memory errors that only
appear after long memtest runs have anything to do
with my problem: Whenever i switch on the machine and
install an OS it failes randomly but during/past
partitioning - while decompressing system files. But i
can keep it on all night with Knoppix with no problem.
So that should eliminate cooling. However i have never
seen the cpu-temperature go above 42°C and the mobo
sensor above 37°. I will test the memory for a longer
stretch this night and update you on any errors.
