I have used the powernow-k8 driver on many different motherboards andmany athlon64 cpus. I have just installed a dual core cpu and thepowernow-k8 driver says


powernow-k8: Found 1 AMD Athlon 64 / Opteron processors (version 1.40.4)
powernow-k8: BIOS error - no PSB or ACPI _PSS objects

Is this a bios problem or a module problem?

Has anyone had any joy in this area?
