detecting SATA2
Does anyone know how to install debian AMD64 on a
SATA2 HD? I heard that kernels >= 2.6.10 should have
no problems with SATA2, but even when i tried kernel
2.6.12 i could not make it notice the disc. Help is
much appreciated.
My HW:
Mobo: Asrock 939Dual-SATA2 S939 ULI16
HD: HD AT 80GB Hitachi Deskstar 7K80 SATA2, 7200rpm,
8MB
CPU: AMD Athlon64 3000+ 1,8GHz tray
