Sorry, I never looked at LFS support prior to libc6 or prior to the
_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64 feature. I can't say when that was added but it
has been there ever since I first had an LFS problem on Debian.

I also don't have a clue about e.g. uclibc and LFS.
