For other stuff, I am myself a little daunted by less than steller 64bit stuff, but then hey, I'll be a pioneer. It'll get there. My friend has a dual Xeon and is quite happy with it. I'm going to build a new server with dual Xeons, as it's a thin market for affordable dual-Opterons ATX mobos (don't like Tyan) and price/performance issues. Opterons looked promising, but now seem pricy. On amd64 linux side, many binaries (closed source) are on the bandwagon with 64bit. :-(
