That looks like you are trying to build a 32bit binary. I think
acroread comes as binary only and just copies itself around when you
build it, right?
Where does the /emul/ia32-linux/usr/X11R6/lib/libXt.so.6 come from? Chroot?

Normal behaviour for an architecture specific package not ported to
amd64. Add amd64 in debian/control for a start.
