The 'cu' command rides along on top of and in conjunction with uucp. So the first thing you need to do to get cu working is to configure uucp on your system. Unless you are using uucp then using cu is really more trouble than value. Instead, use a simpler serial terminal program like minicom, kermit, seyon, etc. The minicom program is probably your easiest configuration. Bob
