I have the ASUS K8N-E Deluxe. Pretty much same thing.

Audio
  Realtek ALC 850 7.1 channel audio codec

I can't tell you about the LAN, because I have not had it running. Butthe sound chip works fine with the intel8x0 kernel driver. I am usingkernel 2.6, but the 2.4 kernel should not be a problem.
