This is what I curently do, but get not more then 20 MByte/Second
using the Intel EtherExpress pro 1000MT.
With my old 3Com 3c905C I get around 8 MByte.
My FileServer IS NOT the bottleneck :-)
It is directly connected to one of the four GBit Ports of my 3Com
SuperStack III and I have already attacked it by wget'ing the local
Debian-Mirror from 12 Machines connected to the 100 MBit ports :-)
