gdb missing in gcc-3.4

hi,

as it seems, there is no gdb available in the gcc-3.4 archive! i regard gdb as 
a rather important tool and thus i'm quite suprised that it is lacking.

i haven't found any report about gdb missing in this list. why is it not 
there? what can i do to work around or solve this issue?
of course, the chroot trick is inappropriate if debugging 64bit apps. 
how about the gdb package of pure64 - is it going to work for me?

for now i'll catch my bug via printf debugging like real a man would ;)
