What has your status as kernel maintainer have to do with the
maintainance of the dbeian-kernel packages, and how debian handles this ?
This is the thing you, not Christoph also, don't understand. The whole
aim of you participating here is to make things easier, not dictating
what should or should not go into the debian kernel, and stiffling
flexibility like you are trying to do.
