  Hi

  Yes, I have local and I/O apic enabled and also ACPI. Please note that I'm 
using this with kernel 2.6.7-rc3-bk4, and didn't test with older versions.

  This is an Athlon64 3400+ (2200MHz) and the chipset is a VIA K8T800. My 
module config. also inserts the amd64-agp module prior to inserting the 
nvidia module in the kernel.

  If you want to take a look at my kernel .config or any other system details 
please let me now.
