Re: amd64 installer (Debian from Scratch) -- another data point
Greetings
I have a Dual opteron system with 16GB of memory. As some others have
reported, when I try to boot the dfs cd from
http://people.debian.org/~jgoerzen/dfs/dfs-0.6.5_i386.iso.
I get:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.6amd64 root=/dev/ram0
[Linux-bzImage, setup=0x1400, size=0x25e695]
initrd /opt/dfsruntime/initrd.dfs
[Linux-initrd @ 0xfbe3a000, 0x1a6000 bytes]
Error 28: Selected item cannot fit into memory
Regards,
Jason
