The two patches are almost identical.
Most importantly, both patches set the Debian arch name to 'amd64'.
I tested both patches and both versions work.
The patch with three lines in archtable is the version
that is used in the amd64 port now. So please take that patch.
The question if we need one line or three lines in archtable can be
settled later.
