So is there any way to fix that? I just rebooted my new etch install and it's still doing the same thing. Tried a previous suggestion of "set auto_action restart" but that didn't help -- also tried setting that to boot and halt, all still gives the same screen garbage and requires power cycle. -- Harmon Seaver
