Hi,I have a new problem in setting up Debian Sarge on a Digital Personal Workstation 600au. In particular, I cannot make the graphical environment start. I think that it depends on the fact that linux cannot detect (or, correctly recognize) the graphical card.
As I have absolutely no idea about how the grahical environment works, the best I could do is attaching to this email:
1) the /var/adm/messages of the Digital Unix 4.0D (maybe you can understand some facts on this workstation that I do not realize) 2) the /var/log/messages of the Debian Sarge (in particular, I cannot understand if linux actually detects a graphical card) 3) the file startx.log that I get when startx 1>startx.log 2>&1I hope that some of you can get some useful information from this stuff. If you think that you need some more information, as usual, do not hesitate to let me know.
Thank you very much Jarno
