"USB ERROR 302" when halting a debian Sarge Alpha PWS500AU

Hello there,
I got a strange problem : when I halt my pws500aux installed with Debian
Sarge, from time to time I got a loop of "USB ERROR 302" going again and
again. No other choice than turning the machine down.
No USB device is present on this system. The initial probe find a USB-Hub
(I guess the 4 USB ports ...)
I can't find what this error means. Any idea ?
Regards,
