RE: Debian 31r0a install



More information on the Multia UDB install issue.

I actually tried a Gentoo install cd to compare notes.
The Gentoo cd did the same thing, so did an AlphaCore cd.
So did the mini-iso <shrug>

I'm wondering if there is some way to try a true floppy install for this
version of Debian.
Also, does anyone have a link to an older version of Debian like 3.0 (Woody)
or 2.2?

I'd happily try doing an SRM install and then upgrading the system, but
first, I need to perform a successful SRM based install.

Is the "console" SRM variable set correctly? It needs to be set to
"graphics" unless you use a serial console.
