Re: Debian Sarge on AlphaServer DS25

Thanks a lot for your answer, really useful.
Our problem is that we don't have an Alpha Server working, so we can't compile aboot and build the CD. We have many i386, but on this platform is not possible to compile aboot (please correct me if I am wrong). So my question would be: is there a way to build a bootable Alpha Linux Imagem from a i386? Maybe should we use MILO?
Thanks a lot

A full install CDROM.

Well, I'd suggest trying the daily netinst image just to be sure. (http://cdimage.debian.org/pub/cdimage-testing/daily/alpha/current/)

And maybe using redhat's aboot could help: http://lists.debian.org/debian-boot/2005/06/msg00016.html
