Printing in KDE Broken?

I did an upgrade awhile ago, and ever since all KDE apps appear to be unable 
to print.  Sending stuff to any printer produces nothing and (perhaps more 
telling) writing to a postscript files create blank ones.

That's blank contentwise (gv and friends just show a blank page), not sizewise 
(printing out a typical email still produces about a 200k file).

I don't have this problem on any of my x86 boxes, and none of the logs on my 
Alpha show any complaints.

Anyone else experiencing this?  Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it (I did 
an update to the latest unstable this morning -- that didn't help)?
