[OT] / on soft-raid1, disk labels

Hi friends!

I want to convert our alpha system to run from a software raid1 on two
scsi disks. We are using SRM + aboot for booting.

I have made such a transfer on a i386 box with lilo without any
problems, but I have no idea how to do this on alpha/srm.

I think that the problem is wether the srm console finds the kernel to
boot, if the partition types are not for linux, but autodetect softraid.

BTW: Is this autodect softraid working on alpha the same way (different
disk labels bsd)?

Best wishes

Norbert
