Looks a lot the message I get when I modprobe in the qlogicisp driver under a
stock Debian kernel. See previous messages on the list about Debian specific
changes to 'core_cia.c' giving people problems.
If you want 2.6.7, why don't you try reverting the 'core_cia.c' changes (just
replace the Debian kernel's 'arch/alpha/kernel/core_cia.c' file with a stock
one from kernel.org) and doing a custom compilation.

PS: If that works (i.e. the module loads with out it crashing), but you then
get play back looping, I have a patch.
