I've always got them. The resulting kernel seems to work fine.

PS: The QLogic ISP1020 in my PWS 500au hasn't given me any problems on 2.6.x
(specifically 2.6.0, 2.6.1, and 2.6.6), other than I have to compile a stock
kernel or revert the Debian specific patch to core_cia.c in order to stop the
the kernel from panicing on loading qlogicisp (as previously discussed on
this list).

PPS: I use a small ext2 partition to hold kernel images to boot. Root and
the rest of my system is reiserfs.

PPPS: I did have problems with the CMD646 controller (on the motherboard)
corrupting my IDE drives.
