Ruffian 164UX and 3.0_r2

hi !
short question :
i wanted to download these .ISO files:

 http://ftp.fi.debian.org/debian-cd/images/3.0_r2/alpha/

has anybody had any success on installing
this version on Ruffian machines? or what
was the latest working version you've been able
to install and run on 164UX? (did you have to compile
a seperate kernel for booting purpose or were boot
disks followed adequate for booting?)
