Hello, first, thanks for your quick answer - to all. now, i have a new and fresh kernel. :) as i wrote, i'm new in this architecture - i don't understand really the the boot configuration. in /etc/aboot.conf are this lines: 0:1/vmlinuz ro root=/dev/sda3 1:1/boot/vmlinuz-2.4.22 ro root=/dev/sda3 first line was created by Debian installer. second line by me. how can i tell to the system, it use one of these kernels? thanks: airween
