woody install kernel hangs on jensen

Hi all,

I have a neat jensen box here that i want to install woody on.

After figuring out the jumper settings on the cdrom for 512B/sector support,
i got the thing to boot, but the kernel halts after this:

Starting kswapd v 1.5
parport0: PC-style at 0x3bc [SPP,PS2]
parport0: no IEEE-1284 device present.

after that the box is frozen.


I didnt come up with some usefull suggestions on google, but i verified that
compaq redhat 7.2 boots and starts the install fine. Any ideas?
