SOLVED Re: Miata sound on 2.4.18 (Debian testing 3.0)

Many thanks again for your replies ;-)
I found the problem; I had this option enabled
(must've rushed through 'make config') and didn't
notice it when doing 'make oldconfig'...
CONFIG_DISCONTIGMEM=y
CONFIG_NUMA=y
Don't know why I did that but it was causing the
sound.o module to not build :-/
