Re: OSF1/NT/OpenVMS ECU differences

Hi Jakub:

Of course, I have 2 disks, one for each OS.
The idea is to switch to NT or Debian using
ARC/SRM, evidently.

The difference is in PAL codes, as they are called... I'll have to
disappoint you. In every doc i read states you can't have both systems on
Jensen - fishes or the aquarium. I can't tell you what exactly was that
docs, but you should find it - just dig deeply :-)

I have found usefull doc's at www.alphalinux.org. FAQ is especially usefull.

I found Jensen HOWTO (I don't know from, how, and when) i can send it to
you. I did't tried that, but as I understand what is written there
1) you can boot linux from srm
2) you can boot NT from ARC
3) linux and NT can't be on the same disk because of different partitionnig
scheme
So if I will use 2 disks you can switch from srm to arc (and back) to boot
both systems. But as i mentioned above i have no experience in dual booting
linux and NT, so it MAY be possible
