help getting a 2.4.x kernel to boot on a Dodge box

Hi,

    We've been having troubles getting the latest 2.4. kernels to boot
on the following system...2.2 booted fine, but none of the 2.4 kernels have
been that nice.  I was hoping someone out there who has had success or knows
any tricks might be willing to work with us (my friend who is actually on
site and myself) to get it figured out.  We are workign on a remote console
setup to aid in this.  Anyone willing?
