The port is still going on, from what I've seen on the OpenOffice
list. They still haven't gotten it to compile completely yet (at least
not on Linux...I think one of the BSD's is ok now, though). With the
current state of gcc 2.95.x, though, I highly doubt that it would
work. Perhaps Redhat's compiler would and possibly a pre-3.0 gcc, but
definitely not 2.95.x.
