Re: compiling kernel



Well, I certainly started a good set of discussions with this
question. 

The "make archdep" did fix my problem and allow me to compile the
2.4.0-test7 kernel.  However, I have not had the chance to test the
kernel and actually boot it since this particular machine is quite
productive.  I have every reason to believe it will boot and work
fine.  My -testx kernels have been running great on the Intel.
