Freeze Strategy
Hello,
Want to make sure everyone is up-to-date with regard to the freeze on
alpha.
The autobuilder will not be able to process frozen. Therefore, any
changes made to frozen will have to be uploaded mnanually. Paul's
list will be very helpful here.
On other notes:
* How are our boot disks coming along? Who is working on them?
* Have we gone through a dry run of the install recently? The
upgrade?
* The documentation that comes with the disks-alpha directory
is woefully inadequate. We used to have a nice mini-HOWTO or
something on our ports page (I think Chris did this?) saying exactly
how to install it, MILO commands and all. This is now nowhere to be
found. I think we ought to put that in the disks-alpha directory as
the existing document won't really help people.
