apt-get and alpha-binary on non-us.debian.org?

I'm trying to run 'apt-get update' and it complaining, here is what
happens:

mustang:~# apt-get update
Ign file:/cdrom/debian/ stable/main Release
Get:1 ftp://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Packages
Err ftp://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Packages
Unable to fetch file, server said

Get:2 ftp://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Release
Ign ftp://non-us.debian.org stable/non-US Release

W: Couldn't stat source package list 'ftp://non-us.debian.org
stable/non-US Packages'
(/var/state/apt/lists/non-us.debian.org_debian-non-US_dists_stable_non-US_binary-alpha_Packages)
- stat (2 No such file or directory)
W: You may want to run apt-get update to correct these missing files

I had a look at non-us.debain.org and found no alpha-binary directory!?!
WTF? Is there not one? Or am I missing the big picture?

TIA,

Ron
