Forget cfdisk!
And if you use BSD-disklabels you don't even need a DOS-formatted
partition and MILO...
(but remember to reboot after writing the partition table with fdisk!)

In the meantime I've earned some experience with installing Slink on
an AS200. I can contribute some documentation in English or adapt the
Install-Manual for Alpha in German if anybode is interested. I don't know
the other Alphas, though.
