root md device

 HI,

 I have set up my alpha with a milo partition and four raided partitions on
 two diska sda and sdb, however I do not seem to succed in starting a the root
 on md0 ( sda5 sdb5 ) with the milo commandline

 boot hda1:vmlinuz root=/dev/md0 md=0,0,8,0,sda5,sdb5 load_ramdisk=1

 with hda1 as a bootable root partition, ( I plan to move the minimum 
 boot recuirements to sdb1 and use sda1 for milo ).

 I get an md_run error or something, and the md devices runs nice from
 hda1's installation.

 I'm lost to as what it can be, any suggestions ??
