It's correct; the Packages file is generated every day, I believe after
uploads are processed.

Filing a bug against 'ftp.debian.org' with the request to have the
package removed should be enough. Make it an important bug.
However, are we sure that everything will continue to work? Also, new
boot floppies will be needed (that's where the package is initially
introduced).
