ECC errors
I often get such things on my machine in first boot after power-up:
lca: machine check (la=0xfffffc0000208490,pc=0xfffffc000038d7b8)
Reason: correctable ECC error (short frame, retryable, dc_stat=0):pn
Correctable read error to memory occurred at address 3cb0cc0
Several other correctable errors occurred.
+ 0 8000000000000040 ffffffff00000018 (*)
+ 10 0000000100000086 6fb0faf800000213
+ 20 0000000003cb0cc0 0000000000000000
+ 30 0000000200000002 0000007100000071
It's important that values in line with (*) are always the same,
and they comes no more when i shut down the system and reboot (without
turning off power).
What can it be - is my hardware defective, or is it software problem?
If someone have simple answer, please put it in first 80 chars
of mail message, so i will be able to read it as SMS with my GSM phone.
Thanks a lot for all help before (about caches etc.)
