Hrm. "apropos" on my machine (XL300) gives:

aragon:~# apropos hosts_access
apropos: unimplemented OSF mmap flags 0202
apropos: unimplemented OSF mmap flags 0202
hosts_access (3) - access control library
hosts_access (5) - format of host access control files
apropos: unimplemented OSF mmap flags 0202
aragon:~#

So, it's kinda working. ;)

Also, whoever is in charge of making the kernels for the bootdisks, the
kernel image that was on resc1440.bin for the xl's refused to boot. MILO
finished loading, and then everything stopped when it came time to bootstrap
the kernel. I've found that you need to enable TGA support AND enable the
"Echo console messages to ttyS0" options, or else this happens. :) I got
around the prob by putting my old 2.0.33 kernel on the disk and using that
until I had a chance to recompile.

Another item: something funky seems to be going on with ncurses. Whenever I
use epic, ircII, or sirc (both from the deb packages and compiled on my own)
everything seems to be going sloooow. I've tried both the ncurses3.4 deb
package and the ncurses-1.9.9e tar ball off of sunsite...no joy for either.

Suggestions?

Lastly, does anyone know which package has libdnet_stub.a? :) A quick
grep in /var/lib/dpkg/info should turn it up if it's installed.

Thanks, and stay frosty,
