egcs-1.1 release schedule

As the alpha platform uses egcs as its primary compiler, this
announcement might be of interest:

A recent snapshot (19980701) of the egcs CVS archives can be found in
experimental. Please be aware that two of the libg++ tests must be
killed manually to complete the testsuite (at least on x86). The
egcs-snapshot directory can be renamed to egcs and then the regular
egcs packages can be built for testing purposes.
