disks-alpha updated

I've moved Pasi's 1997-06-08 and 1997-08-12 snapshots into the hamm/disks-alpha
tree on master, moved the current link to point to the 1997-08-12 directory,
and removed my ancient mess that required a running RedHat system to load.

Below is a list of what's left in the tree that I snatched from his FTP site
before it went away. If anyone wants/needs any of these files, ask for them,
or if you have a login on master, look in ~bdale/pasi. I don't want to
clutter up the main distribution tree with this stuff.

The non-US stuff should not be on master, so I'm going to protect those
directories to reduce the chance that one of us accidentally violates US
export law. Bringing them in was ok, sending them out again is not.

Are any of the .deb files here "important" to move into the main tree on
master, or have they all be superceded by other work? I would prefer the
latter, since I'm uncomfortable about trying to do an end-run around the
package upload system to install .deb file without .changes files associated
with them.

Oh. I should probably mention that I updated Pasi's README files to take his
email address and personal references out, since I suspect he doesn't want to
take email about any of this stuff directly given his inability to continue
to participate. Instead, I suggested that questions go go debian-alpha...

I don't really anticipate having time to try and generate a new base disk set
until sometime in November. If someone else wants to give it a go in the
meantime, I'll be happy to help publish things to disks-alpha on master...
